Crossing Legs – Karen Alkalay

Filed under: Poetry — by cerene @ 8:10 am

    So much of poetry depends
    on keeping legs crossed
    at the right moment
    but whether at my knee
    or your neck
    that is the question.

    Don’t waste time
    wondering when our paths
    or legs will cross.
They won’t or if they do
    it won’t be because
of a promise in a poem.
